A Seminar Series to Provide Your Company with the Tools to be Competitive in the Global Marketplace!


Export University

Export University is a series of courses on exporting designed to help U.S. companies begin an export initiative, and to gain increasing skills and innovation in their international sales. This series is designed to walk participating companies through export topics of various levels. These topics have been identified as being of high interest to North Carolina exporters. The series includes an Export University 101 course, which is an introduction to exporting. The December 201 course will focus solely on export finance, and will give participants an overview of methods of payment, and spend time discussing the pros and cons of various methods of payment. The January 301 course is a complete overview of export regulations and licensing, designed to make participating companies more familiar with export regulations, what types of products/services may need export licenses, and how to comply with the regulations to stay out of trouble. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion following each course.
